Alec Christian Zorich is a member of SBSB Eastham’s Defense Base Act practice group. He previously worked in international trade with a specialization in customs work, addressing ancillary transportation and logistics legal issues that arose for freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and importers/exporters. He is also experienced in general corporate and business law, covering a range of matters from entity formations and dissolutions to governance, compliance, and contract drafting.
His international perspective is deeply informed by his experiences living in South Korea and studying abroad in London. These stints abroad have imbued him with a nuanced understanding of different legal systems and business environments, enhancing his proficiency in navigating complex international trade and legal matters.
Those who work alongside Alec know him as incredibly detail-oriented. He has a strong sense of integrity that compels him, not only to do the right thing, but also to uphold a standard of transparency and responsibility in all his professional interactions. He has a tenacious spirit and unwavering dedication, tirelessly striving to fulfill his clients’ goals.
Alec is a former member of the Texas State Guard, where he served as both a Dive Tender Technician and a Communications Specialist. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess, bass guitar, and drums.
