P: 312.690.5556

Alexa Buechler earned her undergrad degree in Journalism, and after interning with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, thought there was a good chance she would go on to become a reporter. She later chose to attend law school and become an attorney after realizing it was in this area that her work could have a more tangible and immediate impact. While she’ll always be thankful for the skills she learned while studying journalism, she loves being able to work directly with clients and help solve their most pressing issues.

Alexa is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice, analyzing and assessing claims, settlement agreements, and handling other matters, such as discovery. She joins the firm with previous experience in toxic torts. Alexa describes herself as a people person, and her colleagues have come to rely on her ability to step up for the team, regardless of what’s needed.

Outside the office, Alexa enjoys spending time with friends and traveling. She’s also an avid reader and loves trying out new foods.
