Alvin M. Casimere is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. The Longview, Texas native has served as a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group since August 2024, additionally handling cases arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Louisiana Department of Insurance, working closely with senior attorneys on complex cases. He also completed an internship with the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, where he assisted with legal research for indigent clients.

Alvin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in 2017. Later, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. While in law school, he served as 2L class representative and regional secretary for the Southwest Black Law Students Association.

Outside of his practice, Alvin maintains an active involvement in the community, volunteering with legal aid organizations and participating in youth mentorship programs through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Dedicated and enthusiastic in his practice, he makes for a zealous advocate for his clients.
