Amani Husein

Amani Husein is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act group. Her passion for the law dates to her childhood, as she witnessed her father own and operate a business while often dealing with obscure laws for those in his position. With this perspective in mind, she committed to making the law more accessible for business owners.

After earning her Juris Doctorate from SMU’s Dedman School of Law, Amani expanded her reach across several practice areas, including insurance and Longshore and Harbor workers’ compensation matters. In addition to this, she has experience in commercial, real estate and employment matters, including negotiating and drafting commercial leases, asset purchases and contracts.

Since joining SBSB Eastham in May 2024, Amani has immersed herself in the Houston area, exploring all the city has to offer. She is a proficient writer, a meticulous organizer and a creative problem-solver, all of which enable her to deliver for her clients.
