Andrew (“Andy”) Schreck has developed valuable and diverse experience shaped by practicing for over 30 years throughout Texas and in the energy, petrochemical and transportation hub of the Texas Gulf coast. He has extensive experience handling matters surrounding employer liability defense, including state and federal workers’ compensation, offshore and oilfield accidents, the FELA, Jones Act, and non-subscriber cases. He’s often called upon to handle transportation cases dealing with trucking, shipping, and railroad issues. He’s also well-versed in premises liability, ranging from personal injury and wrongful death matters in heavy industry, oilfield and petrochemical industries, to commercial and property damage.

Those who have worked with Andy over the years know him as a creative problem solver. Someone who’s quick on his feet and able to think outside the box. He strives to take his clients from Point A to Point B, being cost-effective without compromising the results he achieves. Whether at the negotiating table or in the courtroom, Andy knows how to try a case. The advice and counsel he gives his clients is what he believes will lead to the best possible outcome.

At SBSB Eastham, Andy has quickly become an asset to the team in a variety of areas. He’s able to hit the ground running in any case the firm handles, at any stage of litigation, in any role he’s needed. He knows how to work with experts, pick juries, and do what needs to be done to advance the ball. He does this by preparing for each case as if it were going to trial. He always goes the extra mile to serve the client, making sure no stone is left unturned.

Andy has always viewed the practice of law as a privilege and not a right. He enjoys the study and research, he enjoys pushing himself, and he enjoys working with people. Even when those people are sitting across the aisle, Andy treats everyone with respect and maintains good relationships. It’s that attitude he credits with so much of his success.
