Ashley Eaves

Ashley Eaves is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. Formerly a middle and high school science teacher, she changed course, becoming a toxicology technologist before ultimately attending South Texas College of Law Houston and earning her Juris Doctorate in 2022. While there, she interned in the Harris County Attorney’s Office’s Environmental Practice Group, gaining valuable experience in complex civil litigation matters. She also earned a CALI award for Insurance Law Seminar during her time in law school, having earned the top grade in the course.

Since joining the firm in January 2023, Ashley has worked as a member of SBSB Eastham’s Defense Base Act group. Additionally, she is well-versed in other areas of the law including family and elder law, insurance, Longshore workers’ compensation, probate and estate planning.

Ashley is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Texas Bay Area Bar Association and MothersEsquire, a non-partisan group seeking to achieve gender equity in the legal profession. In addition to her practice, she boasts a mediation certification earned in 2020. She is a skilled ally capable of connecting with a wide variety of clients to secure a resolution in a case.
