Aurora Abragan

Aurora Abragan is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. As a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group, she assists the firm’s efforts as a leader in the industry, handling claims and assisting employers, carriers and brokers in addressing DBA matters. Prior to joining the firm in October 2024, she gained experience at UTHealth Houston Neurosciences by assisting in the physician peer review process.

A native of the Philippines, Aurora earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Jude College – Manila. Later, she migrated to Houston and attended The University of Texas at Arlington, earning her Master of Science in Nursing Administration along with a Nurse Educator Certificate. In December 2023, she earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston. Before breaking into the legal landscape, she maintained employment as a registered nurse at multiple leading medical institutions in Houston.

Aurora is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. With a deep background in healthcare prior to her career in law, she is a multifaceted professional with a knack for serving others.
