Blane Mader is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s New Orleans office. A member of the firm’s bench since December 2024, he assists clients in handling claims arising under the Defense Base Act. Additionally, he boasts experience in an array of practice areas including workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense for first and third parties, premises liability defense and criminal defense.

A native of Prairieville, Louisiana, Blane earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Loyola University New Orleans in 2018 while graduating magna cum laude. Following this, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate and a degree in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2021.

Blane is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association. Aside from his legal practice, he is a former professional ballet dancer, having performed as a guest artist with numerous studios across the United States and boasting prior training at the School of American Ballet in New York City.
