Breanne Pregeant is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s New Orleans office. A fourth generation Louisianian, she grew up on Grand Isle with a family who owned and operated a major local oilfield service company for decades. While in high school and college, she worked for her family in the summers, conducting survey interviews of offshore supervisors and working in human resources and accounting.

Before earning her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans, Breanne worked as a paralegal at multiple firms beginning in 2013 and as a case manager from 2016 to 2017. During this time, she worked with cases surrounding the Longshoreman’s Act, the Jones Act, general liability, insurance, trucking and labor and employment. Since joining SBSB Eastham in December 2021, she has handled cases arising under the Defense Base Act.

Breanne is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of the state as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She is relied on by colleagues and clients for her meticulous approach to every step of the process in obtaining a resolution.
