Bria Grant

Associate / Chicago

P: 872-870-9211

Bria Grant is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act group. Born and raised in Illinois to immigrant parents, she has prided her life’s work on speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. As such, she often finds time to volunteer with low income and immigrant communities and gets involved in local government affairs.

Before joining SBSB Eastham in May 2024, Bria was employed at the Illinois Democratic Caucus. While there, she notably wrote and was involved in the passing of Senate Bill 1446 (103rd GA), amending the Illinois Human Rights Act to require public schools to implement dress code policies that respect cultural, religious and ethnic identity.

Bria is admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association, and in addition to her work in government, she previously spent time representing the state in workers’ compensation claims while working at the Illinois Attorney General’s office. With a passion for representation and an established background in local and state government, she is uniquely suited to advocate for her clients.
