Brooke Rance

Brooke Rance is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s New Orleans office. Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, she later moved to Fishers, Indiana before finding her way south for law school and falling in love with the Crescent City. She joined the firm in September 2025 as a member of its Defense Base Act practice group.

During her time as an undergraduate at Indiana University Bloomington, Brooke worked on and off campus in multiple voluntary roles, namely as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and in animal rescue. She graduated in 2022 from the school with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and earned her degree with a major in Law and Public Policy and a minor in International Studies. As a law student, she attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and spent much of her free time in public interest work, including as a Rule XX Legal Student Practitioner. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2025, earning a certificate in International Legal Studies alongside her law degree.

Brooke is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association. She leans on her passion for public interest work when working on cases, and when away from her practice, she coaches others as a Registered Yoga Teacher.
