Carra Miller is the managing partner of SBSB Eastham’s Corpus Christi office. A native of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, she has a deep connection to the Gulf Coast region, making admiralty and maritime law a natural practice fit. Her experience in the space extends to cases handled from inception to trial in state and federal courts, and she often handles cases relating to personal injury claims, cargo damage, contract disputes and other complex issues.

Carra joined SBSB Eastham in November 2021 after establishing her practice in Corpus Christi. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M University before earning her law degree from Tulane University. Shortly before joining the firm, she began publishing Miller’s Maritime Newsletter in the summer of 2021, sharing recent developments in the space to a broader audience.

Carra is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has earned recognition as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star each year from 2021 to present and has presented many speeches and presentations in the legal space while maintaining membership in several bar associations.
