Cierra Moormann

Cierra Moormann is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act group. Before joining the firm in June 2024, she began her career as a law secretary, forging a background in criminal law before venturing into employment law while in law school. After passing the bar exam in 2023, she continued to practice employment law, primarily handling discrimination matters on the Plaintiff’s side.

In addition to her Defense Base Act work, Cierra handles Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation matters and brings a diverse academic background to the table. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, she graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 with bachelor’s degrees in law and criminal justice.

Cierra is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She boasts a wealth of knowledge in criminal justice and valuable experience on both sides of the courtroom.
