Courtney Sartor

Courtney Sartor is an associate based in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. Joining the firm in July 2022 as a member of the Defense Base Act practice group, she represents employers and carriers submitting claims under the far-reaching workers’ compensation law.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Sam Houston State University, Courtney took an employment law course that jumpstarted a long-standing interest in the legal profession. Since then, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law and has honed her skills in multiple areas, including legal writing, researching, litigating and strategizing.

Courtney is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the bar’s Labor and Employment Law section and its Women and the Law section. A passionate advocate for her clients and their issues, she prides herself on filling any role required to secure a victory.
