At the age of five, Courtney Sylvester decided that she would become an attorney. That may sound like an early age to commit to something so serious, but when you consider that her mother is a judge and her grandfather, her father, one of her three sisters, at least six cousins, and two uncles are all attorneys, the decision seems a little more like just going into the family business.
As an attorney, Courtney is proud to defend employers against fraudulent or excessive claims. In her view, she’s maintaining the balance between legitimate cases and claims from people just looking for a payday. She is very passionate and empathetic to her client’s cause. The relationships she builds with clients as she prepares their case often last beyond the duration of their litigation.
Courtney tackles each new case by diving deep into the research and meticulously crafting her strategy. By taking the time to have all the facts at hand, she is prepared for every twist and turn that may arise. This attention to detail is one of the many reasons her clients respect her and have come to know she’ll work tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for them.
