Craig Stocker is a partner in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office with an extensive history in defending liability claims under the Defense Base Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Jones Act and general maritime law. Selected as a Texas Rising Star lawyer every year from 2017 to 2024 by Thomson Reuters, he has garnered acclaim as an outstanding performer in his field.

Craig earned his bachelor’s degree from James Madison University before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston five years later. A member of SBSB Eastham’s bench since the firm opened in February 2015, his practice extends even further into areas including general liability, premises liability, subrogation and transportation. Additionally, he handles an active docket of first- and third-party auto liability claims. In working to resolve a case, he prides his work on delving beneath the surface issues and analyzing the deeper elements involved.

Craig’s practice extends across Texas and further across the country, as he is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western districts of Texas. With an expansive array of practice expertise and a commitment to depth, he is a trusted resource capable of delivering for his clients.
