Dana Ladner is a partner in SBSB’s Houston office with a strong practice base centered around claims under the Defense Base Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Jones Act. Her legal career has been marked by persistence and conviction, two hallmarks of her willingness to explore all avenues necessary to get the job done in resolving a case.

A member of SBSB Eastham’s bench since February 2015, Dana has experience in plaintiff and expert depositions, mediation and representing employers and carriers. In addition to her practice, she serves as an Adjunct Advocacy Professor at South Texas College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school, she was named to the Order of the Barristers and won the South Texas Best Writer Award, among other honors.

Dana is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and maintains membership with the Houston Mariners Club, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and Phi Delta Phi, the oldest continuously operating legal organization in the United States. Her insight, determination and willingness to fight for her clients make her a formidable legal force.
