Dena Moghtader followed in her mother’s footsteps in the decision to become a lawyer. From the start, Dena knew her focus in her practice would be in the realm of defense. In mounting a defense case, Dena knows that she and the plaintiff are working from the same set of facts. Dena is adept at analyzing and developing a line of defense that works best for her clients. Her cooperative and efficient style involves coming in from several approaches to develop the best strategy that works for her clients’ unique circumstances.
During law school, Dena aided defense counsels to zealously advocate for people accused of capital crimes. She worked on the civil side of defense as well, representing doctors and hospitals in high stakes medical malpractice claims. She also worked on the plaintiff’s side while in law school, but it was the defense side of things that really called to her.
Dena is proud to have a background in public service. She served as a student attorney with the Veterans Legal Clinic during law school and she is a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
