Don Jones

Don Jones is a partner in SBSB Eastham’s Corpus Christi office. A lawyer with deep roots in the region, his practice extends from commercial and construction litigation to real estate and oil and gas. In addition, he is a dedicated conservationist who has worked extensively as outside legal counsel for organizations including FlatsWorthy, Ducks Unlimited and other regional and national organizations with a similar focus.

Since joining SBSB Eastham in July 2024, Don has sought to expand the firm’s presence in Corpus Christi and throughout South Texas. He is a recent President of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, a former elected Director to the Texas Young Lawyers Association and is an active member of both the Texas Bar Foundation and the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, he is active in the Texas Aggie Bar Asssociation, the 12th Man Association and the Association of Former Students.

Don is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and attained a prestigious Notable rating by Martindale-Hubbell for strong ethical standards in 2024. A veteran litigator with an expansive practice docket, he is a prominent force throughout South Texas and beyond.
