Doug McCullough

Doug McCullough serves as of counsel for SBSB Eastham and is based in its Houston office. A founding partner of McCullough Sudan PPLC, now Vanguard Legal, PLLC, he represents both sellers and buyers in high-impact corporate transactions. A mergers and acquisitions attorney, he boasts a Master of Law in Taxation from Southern Methodist University School of Law, a degree that lends to an intricate knowledge of tax-efficient M&A, investment and financial deals.

Prior to earning his LL.M. from SMU, Doug’s higher education journey began at Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. Following this, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law.

A member of SBSB Eastham’s bench since February 2025, Doug is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, he maintains membership with the Canada-Texas Chamber of Commerce, the British American Business Council and GlobalScot. Aside from his legal practice, Doug is an avid family genealogy enthusiast and has completed nine marathons in his lifetime.
