Elizabeth Hazekamp

Elizabeth Hazekamp is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, she spent time working in government and the nonprofit sector. While in law school, she competed in the prestigious Willem C. Vis East Moot Court Competition in Hong Kong and the International Academy of Dispute Resolution Mediation Competition.

Elizabeth graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Chicago in 2024. In addition to her competition record, she served as Justice of the Daniel Webster Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, a chapter of the international law fraternity that has been routinely recognized for its excellence. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and global studies in 2017.

Elizabeth is admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association and maintains membership with the Association for Conflict Resolution. A resident of Chicago’s Gold Coast, she enjoys traveling the world and exploring new cuisines with her husband.
