Francesca Lastra

Francesca Lastra is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Boca Raton office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Before joining the firm in November 2024, she worked as a law clerk in various firms including an insurance litigation group focused on property damage. Prior to this, she interned with Eleventh Circuit Court Judge Lody Jean in Miami.

Francesca graduated from Florida International University’s Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations in 2019. As an undergraduate, she remained involved with Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, serving as its Alumni Relations Chairman in 2018 and as Vice President of Finance in 2019. Immediately following graduation, she pursued and earned a Master of Arts in Global Affairs from FIU in 2021. Chasing a lifelong ambition of becoming a lawyer, she attended St. Thomas University College of Law and earned her law degree in 2024.

Francesca is admitted to The Florida Bar. Additionally, she speaks Spanish conversationally, unlocking an additional line of communication through which she can reach and assist her clients.
