Gavin Gerngross

Gavin Gerngross is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act group. A certified mediator, his professional career originated in digital advertising. After some time, he made the decision to go to law school, earning his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law in 2015.

Since joining SBSB Eastham in September 2023, Gavin has showcased some of the skills taken from his prior career into his new one, including the ability to passionately and aggressively advocate for the clients he represents. In addition to his DBA work, he focuses a portion of his practice on Longshore workers’ compensation, giving him a presence in U.S. navigable waters accidents.

Gavin is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and maintains a presence in his local community, both as a member of West Houston Assistance Ministries and Star of Hope, a mission-driven organization centered on helping the homeless in Houston. Versatile and experienced in working with a wide range of clients, he is well-suited to turn needs and goals into outcomes.
