Hayes Cheatham

Hayes Cheatham joined SBSB-Eastham with a background in worker’s compensation defense, creating a smooth transition to the firm’s Defense Base Act practice team. At SBSB-Eastham he’s found a supportive and positive environment to build his career, and appreciates the business-like approach of the firm’s management and operations. Hayes looks forward to the opportunity to build his practice where he has all the resources of a larger firm in a close-knit and supportive environment.

Hayes grew up in Wisconsin and received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, where his post-graduate involvement in the political arena led to his interest in pursuing a law degree at Loyola in Chicago. He relishes the chance to explore the city’s restaurants and cultural offerings, and the lifelong Packers fan has shown he can productively co-exist with supporters of the Bears.
