Hayes Cheatham

Hayes Cheatham is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice team. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience working in workers’ compensation defense, making for a natural transition into his current practice.

Before landing at SBSB Eastham in October 2023, Hayes earned his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 2017. After graduation, he became involved in the political space, spurring a desire to attend Loyola University Chicago’s law school and earning his Juris Doctorate in 2022.

Hayes is admitted to the State Bar of Illinois, and he relishes the opportunity to build his practice and represent his clients in a tight-knit environment.
