Hunter Reed

Hunter Reed is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. As a member of the firm’s robust Defense Base Act practice group, he assists in managing claims providing coverage for civilian employees working outside of the United States either on a U.S. military base, a government-funded public works project or in the interest of national defense.

Before pursuing his law degree, Hunter attended the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2019. Five years later, he would earn his Juris Doctorate and graduate from South Texas College of Law in Houston. While in law school, he was the recipient of a Transactional Law certificate and was named a Presidential Fellows Scholar.

Hunter is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. A former ice hockey player, he is an ardent supporter of the Detroit Red Wings.
