Ian Klein is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Dallas office. A North Texas native with a passion for advocacy, he joined the firm in August 2024 with extensive litigation experience in areas including construction law, creditors’ rights, the First Amendment and business law. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable W. Keith Watkins and Myron H. Thompson of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama before moving into private practice in 2021.

Ian preceded his career in the law by earning his law degree and graduating with honors from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2020. While in law school, he served as President of the Texas A&M Student Bar Association and Board of Advocates, was a member of the Texas A&M Law Review Board of Editors and was named to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. As an undergraduate, he graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Ian is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Additionally, he maintains membership in the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and he was named as one of the “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers in 2023.
