Imelda Llanas

Imelda Llanas is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. Since joining the firm in June 2024, she has served as a part of its robust Defense Base Act practice group. A Houston native, she has maintained a passionate interest in the law from a young age, particularly being drawn to the intersection of law and various aspects of life.

Imelda earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston in 2017. Soon after, she attended Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, ultimately earning her Juris Doctorate in 2022. While in law school, she served as an extern for the Honorable Senior District Judge A. Joe Fish in Dallas, and upon graduation, she worked as an associate in criminal defense law.

Imelda is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Her lifelong dedication to the law and versatility in practice knowledge makes her a trusted resource when in need of counsel.
