Jacklyn Dhaemers is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A first-generation attorney, she serves as part of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group, handling cases surrounding those working under contract with the federal government abroad or on U.S. military bases. Prior to joining the firm in September 2024, she spent summers working on personal injury cases, gaining experience on both the plaintiff and defendant sides of the aisle.
Before beginning her career in law, Jacklyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Texas A&M University. Following this, she attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in her native San Antonio, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. While in law school, she was a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal and was a captain of the school’s National Alternative Dispute Resolution team.
Jacklyn is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. A former national champion in the American Bar Association’s National Client Counseling Competition, she possesses the advocacy skills necessary to achieve victory for her clients.
