Jarvus Pennington

Jarvus Pennington is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to joining the firm in September 2024, he gained work experience as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, primarily working under Judge L. Scott Coogler.

Before venturing headlong into a legal career, Jarvus crafted an extensive academic background in accounting, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in the subject while competing as a swimmer at George Washington University. From there, he moved south, ultimately graduating with his law degree from the University of Alabama.

Jarvus is admitted to The State Bar of California. When away from his practice, he enjoys reading and honing his skills at playing various instruments.
