Jeniah Hunter

Jeniah Hunter is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to joining the firm in February 2024, she gained experience working in-house at energy and telecommunications firms on mergers, acquisitions and intellectual property matters.

Originally from South Carolina, Jeniah earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. In addition to graduating with honors, she spent time on staff with the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Journal for Gender, Race and Justice.

Jeniah is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Houston Association of Women Attorneys and the Houston Bar Association. Analytical and detail-oriented, she prides herself on hitting the ground running in the pursuit of victory for her clients.
