For Jenna Ronan, pursuing a career in the law wasn’t a difficult decision. Her mother is the mayor of River Forest, Illinois, while her father spent years working as a lobbyist, so from a young age Jenna developed a fascination and appreciation for the law and the ways in which it could help people.

Jenna is a member of SBSB Eastham’s Defense Base Act group. Before joining the firm, she worked as a Law Clerk in the Special Litigation Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, assisting in matters related to The Equal Rights Amendment, The False Claims Act, and The Prevailing Wage Act. Later, as an Assistant Attorney General, she handled cases dealing with a wide range of workers’ compensation matters. She also has previous experience in Labor & Employment law.

When working on a case, Jenna considers it an important part of her job to understand the points of view of everyone involved. Communicating goals and what each side hopes to accomplish makes her a better advocate for her clients and helps her achieve the best results possible.

An Illinois native, Jenna received her law degree from The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with friends and family.
