Johanna Ramas

Johanna Ramas is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A member of the firm since October 2024, she serves as part of the Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to joining, she cut her teeth practicing personal injury law. Before this, she gained hands-on experience in probate, estate planning, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and criminal law cases as part of an internship while at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Johanna earned her law degree in 2023, graduating cum laude from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. As an undergraduate, she graduated cum laude from Sam Houston State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice along with a minor in Political Science.

A native of the Philippines, Johanna immigrated to the United States at a young age and speaks Tagalog fluently. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is a Certified Mediator in the state in addition to her primary practice.
