Jorge Garza

Jorge Garza is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A first-generation American, he initially joined the firm as a law clerk in May 2023 and now serves as a member of its Defense Base Act practice group.

A native of Houston, Jorge earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy as an undergraduate at the University of St. Thomas in 2020. From there, he pursued and earned his Juris Doctorate when he graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2025. While in law school, he gained extensive first-hand trial experience through local mock trial tournaments. His graduation carried a level of familial significance, as he became the first in his family to earn a law degree.

Jorge is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and brings the same fighting spirit that helped him overcome cancer to the work he provides for clients.
