Joseph J. Raymond

Joseph J. Raymond is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to joining the firm in November 2025, he focused his work as a law clerk and an attorney in fields ranging from professional license defense and federal election law to commercial litigation.

Joseph earned his bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018. Six years later, he would graduate with his Juris Doctorate and a certificate in Business Law from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.

Joseph is admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association, an accolade he celebrated by driving across Turkmenistan. In all, he has traveled to more than three dozen countries, and when he is away from his practice, he enjoys working out and spending time with his cats Jeff and Allen.
