Joshua Johnson

Associate / New Orleans

P: 504.561.0323

Joshua Johnson has amassed extensive experience in a range of different practice areas, including business litigation and insurance coverage. He previously worked for Disability Rights Louisiana on matters involving civil rights violations. He negotiated more than $700,000 from insurance companies for damage related to hurricanes and other severe weather. In his previous position with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, he represented clients in protective order, custody, divorce, and other family law matters.

Joshua learned that while these areas dealt with different areas of the law, they were all connected by a common thread: they involved people who were anxious, sometimes unsure of the next step they should take, and in need of someone who could fight for them. And that’s really what’s at the center of what Joshua does. He fights for people.

It’s a role that Joshua is uniquely positioned for. Because of his experience with plaintiffs’ work, he knows exactly what the other attorneys are discussing as well as how they perceive what they’re being told. This gives his clients the best chance of success.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys running and working out, as well as growing fruits and vegetables in his garden.
