Karin Lieber knows that cases are won or lost in the details. Her dedication to thorough research into every aspect of every case has led her to a proactive approach that leaves no stone unturned in order to find the best solutions for her clients.

She brings this attention to detail to bear on cases in defense of labor and employment arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act, as well as general maritime law.

Early in her career, Karin’s clerkship with the Honorable Judge Ken Wise at the 14th Court of Appeals of Texas proved invaluable in her present in-depth approach to legal issues for criminal and civil cases that go to appeal. Other clerkships gave her insight into different areas of the law, from general civil litigation law and dispute resolution to contract negotiation, construction litigation and workers’ compensation cases.

When not actively defending her clients or doing a deep dive into the law to prepare for her next case, Karin enjoys international travel and international cultural affairs. She is a scuba diver with PADI certification and speaks Italian and French.
