Katelyn Laraia

Katelyn Laraia is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to joining the firm in October 2025, she gained experience through stints as an extern for the Securities and Exchange Commission and as a participant in DePaul University College of Law’s Civil Litigation and Health Law Clinic.

Katelyn is a native of the Downers Grove suburb of Chicago and attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as an undergraduate. She graduated from the school in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Chemistry and Molecular Biology. Following graduation, she worked in pharmaceutical training, compliance and onboarding for pharmacy technicians. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate from DePaul in 2025, earning recognition on the dean’s list and as a member of The Order of the Barristers.

Katelyn is admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association and is an alumni member of the Chicago chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.
