Kathleen Goetzke

Associate / Houston

P: 713.588.0446

Kathleen Goetzke’s father was a JAG officer and her mother and grandmother were both attorneys. Still, it wouldn’t be until she was in college that Kathleen chose to go into the law herself. She had always planned on going to grad school, and as she weighed and considered her various choices, she realized that studying the law, as she puts it, felt like home.

Kathleen takes a very methodical approach to the cases she works on. She previously worked as an Intelligence Analyst with 66th Military Intelligence Brigade in Heidelberg, Germany. There, she prepared reports and briefings on ongoing political instabilities and researched the intelligence communities of select European countries. Leveraging her background in research into analyzing new information is something she’s had a lot of experience with and is one of her greatest strengths as an attorney. When a new case walks through the door, Kathleen always hits the ground running.

Kathleen enjoys travel, F1, and trying new foods. Despite the fact that the military moved them around when she was growing up, with a father from San Antonio and a mother from Houston, she’s still a Texan through and through.
