Katy Ivey Day is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice with previous experience in tax law, probate, and estate planning.

Katy was inspired to pursue a career in the law by her father, who was an attorney when she was growing up. As he would share with her details about the work he did, she gained a deep appreciation for the law and its capacity to help those in need.

Katy brings a cheerfulness to her work that those she represents have come to appreciate and even rely on, as any situation requiring a lawyer can be stressful. Katy is a communicator, and keeps her clients informed every step of the way.

Outside the office, Katy enjoys pickleball, tennis, and music.
