Lauren Strickland is a member of SBSB Eastham’s Defense Base Act practice group, with previous experience in employment defense and government contracts.

Lauren has a strong eye for detail and is extremely skilled in conducting research. She is research proficiency certified by LexisNexis and previously worked as a Legislative Intern during the 85th Texas Legislative Session, as well as a Medical Research Intern at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where she had several medical abstracts published in Blood Journal.

This previous experience has been tremendously useful in Lauren’s legal career, not only seeking out information but interpreting it for those who need it. As Lauren seeks out those details that aren’t so easily found on the surface, she gives her clients the best chance of success. Bolstering those chances is something she is absolutely committed to.

Lauren is a native Texan and, in her spare time, loves travelling internationally and discovering the hidden gems of Houston with her three-pound Yorkie.
