Madeline Ericksen is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s New Orleans and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. While taking political science classes as an undergraduate at Louisiana State University, she discovered a desire to pursue the law, ultimately doing so at Southern University Law Center. While in law school, she interned at a firm specializing in family and immigration law and spent summers teaching high schoolers the basics of the law and trial prep.

A Mandeville, Louisiana native, Madeline graduated from LSU in 2021 with a degree in criminology and a minor in psychology. After earning her Juris Doctorate from Southern in 2024, she moved back home before joining SBSB Eastham in May 2025.

Madeline is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association. When away from her practice, she takes advantage of time spent with family and friends and enjoys playing tennis and painting.
