Mandie DiMartino

A lifelong Floridian, Mandie DiMartino began her professional career as an Audit Specialist for one of the traditional Big Four accounting firms where she was a subject matter expert at her office. After a couple of years, she found herself wanting to explore new opportunities where she could grow professionally. Mandie’s exposure to the work of corporate and outside counsel intrigued her, so she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue a law degree, relocating to Houston to broaden her prospects.

Although attending law school during a pandemic was challenging, Mandie was determined to gain as much of a well-rounded experience as possible, successfully participating in several moot court competitions and acting as a member for the South Texas Law Review. During law school Mandie interned at a non-profit organization and four law firms with widely varying practice areas, but found her calling to be in defense litigation.

She’s now found a home at SBSB Eastham, appreciating the intricacies of the Defense Base Act, and learning more about her new home in the greater Houston community. In her spare time, you can find Mandie cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning, watching horror movies, longboarding with her dogs, and dreaming about her next trip to the beach.
