Marmar (MK) Kahkeshani

Marmar “MK” Kahkeshani is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. Since obtaining her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in December 2014, she has cultivated a robust legal career marked by a diverse background in both plaintiff and defense work. From representing individuals in personal injury cases and advocating for clients in insurance claims, bad faith litigation and insurance disputes to representing clients in mesh mass tort litigation, she has played a pivotal role in multiple arenas.

Transitioning into insurance defense, MK has garnered substantial experience as outside counsel for a national retailer, adeptly managing premises liability cases. She has also served as coverage counsel, defending first-party insurance property claims with notable expertise.

Since arriving to SBSB Eastham in February 2023, MK’s practice has focused on labor and employment matters and defending claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act and general maritime law. Her diverse experience on both sides of the docket provides her with a unique perspective and strategic approach, enabling her to effectively advocate for her clients.
