Meagan Downes

Meagan Downes’ drive is what sets her apart. She is determined to reach the desired goal, regardless of the time and effort it takes to get there. Her previous work experiences include property and casualty insurance as well as workers’ comp matters, and she now puts that background to good use while expanding her knowledge of the industry as a part of SBSB-Eastham’s Defense Base Practice team.

The oldest daughter among eight siblings, the Florida native chose to attend the University of Notre Dame where she earned her undergraduate degree and a master’s in Management. Frequent trips to Chicago as a student encouraged her to attend Loyola University for law school and begin her legal career in the Windy City. At SBSB Eastham she found a professional home that is both supportive and demanding.

Known as a diligent and empathetic co-worker, Meagan takes a comprehensive view of every matter she handles and takes great pride in considering all available options to reach the desired resolution.

In her free time, Meagan enjoys cheering on the Irish, reading, and trying new restaurants.
