Mya Ashlan Lloyd

Mya Ashlan Lloyd embraces the legal profession as an avenue to deploy her skills in writing, critical thinking, and communication to make a tangible impact in the lives of others. Raised in Dallas, Mya Ashlan returned to her roots in Louisiana to pursue her bachelor’s degree at LSU, laying the foundation for her journey in law. Subsequently, she chose to pursue a law degree at Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she demonstrated her unwavering commitment to service and leadership. She actively participated in various roles, supporting fellow students through innovative programming efforts and assuming the position of senior editor for the Thurgood Marshall Journal on Gender, Race, and Justice.

Mya Ashlan’s dedication to both academic excellence and community engagement speaks volumes about her well-rounded capabilities. At SBSB-Eastham she discovered a supportive and nurturing environment among accomplished attorneys who share her passion for success. Now an integral part of the firm’s Defense Base Practice, Mya Ashlan brings her fresh perspective, strong work ethic and client focused approach to contribute positively to SBSB Eastham.

When not in the office, Mya Ashlan enjoys spending time with her Doberman pinscher Boston, cooking and event planning.
