Olivia Ekeke is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and serves as a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. Before joining the firm in November 2025, she served as an associate for a multi-state insurance defense firm.

Olivia earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas in 2013 before going on to earn a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Texas A&M University School of Public Health in 2015. She would ultimately earn her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2024, and while in school, she served as a student attorney with the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinic, interned for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and was a member of the Black Law Students Association.

Olivia is a first-generation Nigerian American and is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Outside of her legal work, she serves as a mentor for Brigid’s Hope, a nonprofit providing services to women over the age of 35 who are formerly homeless and were previously incarcerated. Additionally, she enjoys family time, catching Afrobeat concerts and tackling DIY projects around the home.
