Payton Kuenzli

Payton Kuenzli is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Boca Raton office serving as a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group. A native Ohioan, she ventured out to Florida in search of more abundant opportunity and better weather, bringing experience in multiple segments of insurance defense to the firm upon her arrival in April 2025.

Payton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2018, graduating with honors in the process. Following graduation, she attended Florida International University College of Law in Miami, earning her law degree in 2021. At the time of her graduation, she was recognized for Outstanding Negotiation Skills in her class.

Payton is admitted to The Florida Bar, and her work earned features as a Lawyer of Distinction in The New York Times and The American Lawyer in 2023. When away from her practice, she relishes the opportunity to travel across the United States and abroad.
