Phillip McCrady

Phillip McCrady is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group, he also frequently handles cases in areas including admiralty and maritime, insurance, labor and employment, general liability and workers’ compensation claims both in a federal scope and under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.

Before joining SBSB Eastham in May 2023, Phillip spent three years giving back to South Texas College of Law as a teacher. He taught more than 1000 students in total at his alma mater, helping to foster an entirely new crop of attorneys while honing his own skills as an advocate.

Phillip is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and maintains conversational fluency in Mandarin Chinese, enabling him to reach an entirely new audience of potential clients. His strength as an attorney lies in his ability to reach people with different backgrounds and goals in the common pursuit of a mutually beneficial result.
