Raven Mouton believes everyone deserves a fair shake. She is a proponent for justice and balance in all aspects of life and in law. She works to understand her client’s needs on a deep level, and once that understanding is achieved, she can better represent them and their interests. By placing herself in their shoes, she can best move forward with them to the best possible outcome in their case.

Raven is keenly observant, taking everything in and assessing the situation to develop a game-plan and a comprehensive strategy. For her, putting forth the effort to understand another person’s perspective and respecting other viewpoints while developing her own position allows her to develop relationships with depth. When all parties make the effort to understand and hear each other, everyone comes out with something of value.

One of her proudest accomplishments was starting the LSU Law Journal for Social Justice & Policy while she was enrolled at LSU Law. When she started, there was no law journal dedicated to public policy, so she started one, and thanks to her efforts getting it off the ground, the journal is still going strong to this day.
