Richard Bogart is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Boca Raton office. A member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group, he handles federal workers’ compensation cases and claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. His legal career began in 2008 as a litigation paralegal at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City.

A member of the firm since March 2024, Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Vermont. Following his stint as a paralegal, he moved to South Florida to attend the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the Psychology, Public Policy, and Law Journal and graduated magna cum laude in 2014.

Richard is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a licensed real estate agent in the state. Well-learned and well-versed across multiple legal fronts, he is an expert advocate for his clients’ needs.
